What is AMUSE project?
The AMUSE project intends to establish active cooperation between the Ukrainian and European HEIs in the area of inclusive education and special needs education.
The project will equip the pre-and in-service teachers with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) methodology, required for successful learning of children with speech impairment.
Based on this reliable methodology, our international initiative aims to positively affect the learning climate in Ukraine, particularly in terms of educators’ readiness and skills, and creation of a more inclusive educational environment.
AMUSE target groups are include those interested in broadening minds in the area of inclusion, AAC methodology, their application, and know-how acquisition. These stakeholders comprise, in particular, (1) pre-service teachers (BA and MA students majoring in preschool, primary, and secondary education), (2) in-service teachers (educators from preschool, general secondary and higher education institutions), (3) school and kindergarten administration, city departments of education, and policymakers.
